  • Tax in retirement - dealing with income tax and tax changes in retirement
  • Health and Wellbeing - maintaining and improving health and mental wellbeing in retirement
  • On-going support from PRAGMA - how Pragma can help in the early years of retirement; information about the free advice, information, workshops and seminars available to course members

  • Lunch
  • Volunteering Opportunities - the benefits of volunteering and what to consider before getting involved
  • Tax in retirement - dealing with income tax and tax changes in retirement
  • The State Pension - how it works; when and how to claim it

 Day 2

  • Your Pension Scheme (where appropriate) - information about your employer's pension arrangements
  • Financial Planning for Retirement - planning for financial security
  • Getting the most from Retirement - 'Contented, committed and fulfilled'; a personal view from  a local retiree
  • Lunch
  • Wills and Estate Planning - the importance of wills; use of trusts and powers of attorney
  • Budgetting and Concessions - living within your means, and concessions available from 60-plus
  • On-going support from PRAGMA - how Pragma can help in the early years of retirement;  information, guidance, workshops and seminars available to course members
